The fact is that many things can produce aberrant behaviors similar to ADHD. Chronic fear or mild seizures can make a child overactive, quarrelsome, impulsive, or inattentive.

 


 


A good cooperative child may become overactive and easily distracted after the parent's death.

It doesn't mean that they will have a lifelong problem of controlling their impulses. Hence it is very important that a person is first assessed for any other causes for any kind of strange behaviors.
